Ep 56: Girl Cops Rock

In honor of National Police Woman Day on September 12th, today is all about women in policing. 

Women make up just 12% of the law enforcement officers in the country and 3% of police leadership. In an effort to increase women in policing, the Fort Wayne Police Department has joined the 30×30 initiative. The program aims to have women make up 30 percent of the recruits in police training classes by 2030, but the FWPD has a few ideas of their own when it comes to recruiting women.
