In Hour 1 of The Sports Rush today, Brett catches up with former Indiana Hoosier basketball player and now head coach of the Fort Wayne Champs, Rod Wilmont! The Fort Wayne Champs are once again getting ready to participate in the 2023 TBT, a nation-wide basketball tournament featuring many talented teams competing through a bracket for a million dollar prize in the championship! We first ask Rod about what he’s been up to in his basketball career! He and Brett also talk about the roster and makeup of this year’s Champs team. They discuss what is different in the lineup and roster from last season, and also get an idea of their first game matchup in the Bucketneers, a team consisting of ETSU Alumni. Also in the hour, we summarize last night’s MLB All-Star Game that wasn’t exactly the most exciting, and also didn’t have the best fashion choices. We also discuss the Colts roster as well as the American Century Championships! All that and more in Hour 1!
