Hour 1: Zaire Franklin

After a fun morning hanging out with some of the Colts broadcasting team here in the studio, and we were also joined on The Sports Rush today by Colts linebacker Zaire Franklin! Brett asks Zaire about being a seventh round pick and what kind of motivation that gave him in order to get to the spot that he is today, coming off of a great season last year and getting ready for Week 1 now against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Brett also gets a sense of what the emotions are like for Zaire as well as other players around the facility as unfortunately roster cuts are coming up for the team and players must say goodbye to teammates. Brett asks how Zaire compartmentalizes that and focuses on what he has to do to bring the best play to the field possible. He also asks him about working alongside Shaquille Leonard, what Anthony Richardson does to open up the offense and how he’s lead the team so far, and more!
