Ep 51: Protecting Men and Women in Blue
The recent death of Elwood Police Officer, Noah Shahnavaz, has a lot of folks questioning: “How can we better protect our men and women in blue?”
24-year-old Officer Shahanavaz was shot and killed during a “routine” traffic stop in Madison County. As he approached the suspect’s car, the suspect, 42-year-old Carl Roy Webb Boards II, fired over 30 rounds. Officer Shaanavaz did not stand a chance.
This tragic death and the tragic death of multiple other officers has many questioning protective gear, funding for police departments and criminal accountability.
