Hour 2: Hayden Jones

In Hour 2 today, Brett is joined by Carroll High School graduate and now player for the Cincinnati Reds organization with the Dayton Dragons, Hayden Jones! We first hear from Hayden about how he’s preparing for a big life change in the off-season, getting married! We hear from Hayden about what his 2023 season was like in the Reds organization with the Dragons. We hear what it was like to go from playing the majority of the season last year to being more of a utility player this year with the team and how that was adjusting for him and how he manages to make the most of his time when he did get a chance to play. We hear about how he was able to pump himself up and stay positive and deal with it mentally, going up to a month without a chance to play. How tough it is to suddenly go out and perform when you are called upon as a non-regular player on the team to come in and produce? We also hear from him about a new venture with himself and his father here in the 260! Also in the hour, we play Tuesday Time Capsule Trivia with one of our listeners competing for a large pizza from Pizza Hut! All that and more in Hour 2!
